Sustainability Tips: 3 Ways

Sustainability Tips: 3 Ways

Woof woof, my fellow pups and humans! It's your favorite dog toy brand, Chelsy's Toys, here to talk about the hottest buzzword of the year - sustainability!

Now, we know what you're thinking, "What in the world is sustainability?" Don't worry, we're here to help break it down for you. According to those smart humans over at McGill University, sustainability means taking care of our own needs while also making sure we don't mess things up for future generations. Pretty cool, huh?

As a responsible dog toy brand, we're all about doing our part to help the planet. That's why we've partnered with an amazing retail packaging company called Eco Enclose. These folks are total packaging innovators, and they're always coming up with new ways to be more sustainable. Some of their coolest inventions include 100% recycled poly mailers, algae printing ink, and paper made with ag waste.

We're so proud of the way we ship our toys using eco-friendly concepts like these. Plus, we also make sure to reuse sturdy boxes to reduce our carbon pawprint even further.

But enough about us, what about you? How can you become more sustainable? Well, we're glad you asked! Here are a few simple changes you can make to help out the planet:

  1. Reduce, reuse, recycle: We know you've heard this one before, but it really does make a difference! Try to cut back on single-use items and opt for reusable containers whenever possible. And of course, always recycle properly.

  2. Support sustainable brands: When you're shopping for products, look for companies that share your values when it comes to sustainability. It's an easy way to vote with your dollars and support a more eco-friendly future.

  3. Conserve energy: Turn off lights and electronics when you're not using them, and try to use energy-efficient appliances whenever possible.

See, it's not so hard to be a little more sustainable! And who knows, maybe someday we'll all be able to live in a world where every pup and human can play with toys guilt-free. Fingers (and paws) crossed!
